This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on www.cochetica.com and delivered outside Romania.
The online store www.cochetica.com is operated by KAPROS LORENA MARILENA PFA, a Romanian authorised sole trader.
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to selected international destinations, depending on the delivery options available at checkout.
Available shipping countries, delivery methods, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed before you complete your order.
If a delivery option is not available for your country at checkout, this means that we are currently unable to ship to that destination.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before the order is placed.
The final shipping cost may vary depending on the destination country, delivery method, order value, parcel weight and any active shipping promotions.
Any free shipping offers, where available, will be clearly displayed on the website or at checkout, together with the applicable conditions.
3. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout, where available.
International delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, courier availability, customs procedures, public holidays, peak periods or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will deliver the products within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date your order is confirmed.
If we are unable to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you as soon as possible.
4. Customs, Import Duties and Taxes
Orders delivered outside Romania or outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs fees, VAT or other local taxes.
If these charges are not collected at checkout, they may be charged separately by the competent authorities or courier in the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, any such import duties, customs fees, VAT or similar charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend checking the applicable import rules in your country before placing an order.
5. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Processing times may vary during promotional periods, product launches, high-volume periods or public holidays.
Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you may receive a shipping confirmation and tracking information, where available.
6. Delivery Address
Please make sure that your delivery address, contact details and phone number are correct before placing your order.
We are not responsible for failed deliveries or delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery information provided by the customer.
If you notice an error in your delivery details after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact.cochetica@gmail.com. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made after the order has been processed or dispatched.
7. Failed Delivery or Unclaimed Parcels
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the customer provided incorrect or incomplete delivery details, refused delivery, failed to collect the parcel, or was unavailable for delivery attempts, the parcel may be returned to us.
In such cases, any additional shipping costs, return costs, customs fees or courier charges may be deducted from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.
If you would like the order to be resent, additional shipping fees may apply.
8. Damaged Parcels
If your parcel appears damaged upon delivery, we recommend taking clear photos of the parcel before opening it and contacting us as soon as possible at contact.cochetica@gmail.com.
Please include your order number, photos of the parcel and products, and a short description of the issue.
This helps us assess the situation and contact the courier where necessary.
9. Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, please contact us at contact.cochetica@gmail.com.
We will check the status of the shipment with the courier and provide further information.
If the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as resending the products where possible or issuing a refund, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Risk and Delivery
The products are considered delivered when they are physically received by you or by a person nominated by you to receive the order.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
